Many believe that devotionals are religious practices and that only Christians or those who go to church regularly can do it, but in reality this is nothing more than intimacy and search for God.
Devoting time to our spiritual growth is essential if we want to have a close relationship with our creator, and this is achieved by practicing the things that bring us closer to Him, praying, learning to listen to Him, reading the bible, to be able to know what we should do and how we should behave, adore him so that our being can feel him and we can exalt his name.
Let's stop seeing devotionals as if they were a religious practice and start seeing it for what it really is, a closeness to God, a special moment with God.
This is why many today cannot see something happening in their moments with God because they go to that moment as the one who is going to fulfill a requirement, they are predisposed to only fulfill a religious requirement and not to fill their spirit with the Spirit of God. . Meeting with God should always be a pleasure, a refuge, a delight and not something forced, always going to his presence should be something longed for by our being.
If today you feel that it is difficult for you to go before his presence, do not be discouraged, just ask the Holy Spirit to guide you, what happens is that religion has taught us rules that instead of bringing us closer to God, they distance us, because they impose a perfection that we cannot fulfill if we do not fill ourselves first in his presence.
No matter what your situation is today, get closer to God, every day, do not get carried away by what others say or think, not even by what your mind may be throwing at your heart, be clear that no matter what happens, going to the feet of our heavenly father will always be the right decision.
