Cuando hablamos de terreno fértil automáticamente pensamos en algo productivo, que da abundante y buenos frutos. Sin embargo ambas palabras pueden describir un escenario no tan acogedor, como “terreno fértil para la desesperación”. En estos tiempos se ha proliferado una gran cantidad de virus, bacterias, gérmenes, dañinos para la salud, y entre otras cosas los gobiernos han indicado una serie de normas higiénicas a practicar para el cuerpo y la casa donde habitamos, para así contrarrestar sus efectos nocivos.
Podemos aplicar esta frase a una casa desordenada y sucia, una persona desaseada, descuidada, que son terrenos fértiles para la propagación de esos virus, y en consecuencia afectar a su entorno. El odio, el rencor, la envidia, la amargura… Son “virus” letales para la perdición del ser humano, ellos van estrechamente unidos, uno da paso al otro, fortaleciendo, hasta que se convierte en un volcán que al final da a lugar una erupción tan devastadora que arrasa todo lo que encuentra sin importar , si es padre, madre o hermanos.
¿Qué llevo a Caín a matar a su hermano? La envidia que dio lugar al egoísmo, este al odio. caen decidió seguir el mal que se había sembrado en su corazón y Dios lo conocía perfectamente.
He conocido muy de cerca familias que se han dejado consumir por estos sentimientos, familias que fueron criadas bajo principios morales básicos de cómo vivir de manera digna, respeto, trabajo decente, lealtad, fidelidad, amistad. Pero cuando el corazón da lugar a lo malo, este toma centro de la persona. Cuántas familias conocemos que en medio de una riña, un hermano mata al otro, un tío a un sobrino, toda una desgracia que luego los envuelve en un círculo de resentimiento mayor. Solo un poder supremo puede liberarnos de ese mal. Los hijos de Dios no estamos exentos de ello, y se nos advierte de luchar en contra el maligno, porque todos esos sentimientos son propios de él, y esto produce muerte, destrucción, sufrimiento.
Levítico 19:17-18
No aborrecerás a tu hermano en tu corazón; razonarás con tu prójimo, para que no participes de su pecado. No te vengarás, ni guardarás rencor a los hijos de tu pueblo, sino amarás a tu prójimo como a ti mismo. Yo Jehová.
El Señor nos ha dejado principios eficaces para una buena convivencia, y esto implica perdonar, perdonarse y pedir perdón.

El pueblo de Dios que le teme reverencialmente, tiene la responsabilidad de cumplir sus mandamientos y proclamarlos, y el Dios de paz nos respaldara como a hijos de obediencia.
Hay un corito, una de las canciones de antaño, que dice solo Dios hace al hombre feliz, la vida es nada todo se acaba. Solo Dios hace al hombre feliz. Agrego solo Dios le da sentido con propósito a la vida que nos ha dado , la vida es lo más sagrado que tenemos, vivamos de tal manera que honremos esa vida y afectemos positivamente a nuestro entorno, y sea grata a los ojos de nuestro creador.

When we speak of fertile ground we automatically think of something productive, bearing abundant and good fruit. However, both words can describe a scenario that is not so welcoming, such as "fertile ground for despair". In these times there has been a proliferation of viruses, bacteria, germs, harmful to health, and among other things governments have indicated a series of hygienic rules to practice for the body and the house where we live, in order to counteract their harmful effects.
We can apply this phrase to a messy and dirty house, an untidy and careless person, which are fertile grounds for the spread of these viruses, and consequently affect their environment. Hatred, resentment, envy, bitterness... They are lethal "viruses" for the perdition of the human being, they go closely together, one gives way to the other, strengthening, until it becomes a volcano that in the end gives rise to an eruption so devastating that it sweeps away everything it finds regardless of whether it is father, mother or siblings.
What drove Cain to kill his brother? Cain decided to follow the evil that had been sown in his heart and God knew it perfectly well.
I have known very closely families that have been consumed by these feelings, families that were raised under basic moral principles of how to live in a dignified way, respect, decent work, loyalty, faithfulness, friendship. But when the heart gives way to evil, it takes center stage. How many families we know that in the middle of a quarrel, a brother kills the other, an uncle kills a nephew, a whole misfortune that then involves them in a circle of greater resentment. Only a supreme power can free us from this evil. The children of God are not exempt from it, and we are warned to fight against the evil one, because all these feelings are his own, and this produces death, destruction, suffering.
Leviticus 19:17-18 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the Lord.
The Lord has left us effective principles for a good coexistence, and this implies forgiving, forgiving each other and asking for forgiveness.

The people of God who reverentially fear him, have the responsibility to fulfill his commandments and proclaim them, and the God of peace will support us as children of obedience.
There is a chorus, one of the songs of yesteryear, that says only God makes man happy, life is nothing, everything is over. Only God makes man happy. I add only God gives purposeful meaning to the life he has given us, life is the most sacred thing we have, let us live in such a way that we honor that life and positively affect our environment, and be pleasing to the eyes of our creator.
