ALWAYS GIVE THANKS

Hello Lovelies,it's ,been a while. Hope you all are good? So today I thought we should look at the first part of the bible passage - 1 Thessalonians 5: 18 that says "give thanks in all circumstances..." Trust me,this is one very hard thing to do. It is easier to give thanks when you just got a new job,got married etc and everything is going on so smoothly .What is hard is giving thanks when you lost something,someone and you are just sad.
Giving thanks at all times takes one who is solely dependant on God,one who studies his word daily and sees thanksgiving as a necessity.

Often times,we ignore details or we are too busy to glorify God and give him thanks for his many blessings. And many times we focus on what he has not done than what he has done.
We ought always to look at thanksgiving from the right angle. The bible commands so(Psalms 50:14) and God finds it pleasing regardless of the circumstances or conditions. Every believer must appreciate God's good deeds in private or in public. Thanksgiving should be cultivated as an habit by Christians.
Moreover,thanksgiving helps keep us at the right stand with God. The more grateful we are,the more we find ourselves away from sin. For the gift of salvation,his reign,for protection,provision,shelter,strength and many more,we should give thanks to our creator.

Today marks the beginning of a new month. Even though it seem like your prayers have not been answered,give thanks. You can even thank God in advance. Make up your mind to thank God whether or not you see answers to your prayers. Truly,thanksgiving has a way of hastening answers. Therefore make it a daily and continuous attitude(psalm 119:164).
