Good evening everyone ,how are you all doing I hope you all are doing great, for me I am very fine. Today I want to write about boldness

Introduction: boldness is the courage to act or speak fearlessly despite real or imagined dangers if a person act boldly he or she takes actions regardness of risk for example a man may boldly stand up to a dictatorial boss in the office knowing fully well that he could be fire for doing so.

2 Timothy 1:7-8 -: For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;

boldness is not to be confused with rashness or aggressiveness it is however similar to assertiveness which can empower someone to speak what is necessary despite the possibility of a negative outcome, even Paul the apostle was bold and that was why he sent a letter to the church asking for prayer that he will be bold in continuing to proclaim the gospel .

We should let our boldness be motivated by passion for Christ and it truth. Stephen spoke boldly and he became the first Christian martyr.
Some of us ,we need the spirit of boldness to act well in our place of work even in our society today, we all need the spirit of boldness to live without fear and to encourage our brothers and sisters who have mislead their way , we all need the spirit of boldness to share and preach the gospel to the world.the spirit of boldness is the spirit of God who make us stand firm and compels a person to speak the truth even when the truth is not welcome ,it doesn't welcome lies or error it pursue the truth and speak what is right regardless of how terrifying such actions may be .the spirit of boldness enlighten us to speak without fear without thinking about what will happen to us .

Christ has give us the spirit who is bold and courageous we do not have to muster courage and strength on our own .we simply submit to the spirit of God that is within us . To be bold, first of all Jesus brought boldness through him, we have boldness and access with confidence through faith to God our father
We can be bold through the power of the holy spirit, through fervent prayer and fasting, also our time with God can makes us bold.

Note this ,boldness is not a constant or taken for granted we must keep praying for it whenever we need it, even apostle Paul experience this that was why he asked the Ephesian to prayed for him to declared the word boldly.
so dear brothers and sisters since boldness is not a constant gift of the holy spirit or is not an option we must keep praying for it frequently.

ln conclusion as a followers of Christ we should pray as Paul did that the lord will grant us supernatural boldness to speak and live as he would have us do .we should not strive in our own strength, we should rather cast ourselves at Jesus feet and wait upon him in a sure confidence for he cares for us and he work in us so let us be strong in the lord and in the power of his might .we should not allow our struggles,fears or doubt take our time or making us feel reluctant to share our faith with others. By meditating on these bible verse about boldness we can remind of God truth and grow in courage .

May God give us the spirit of boldness which is bold And courageous to strengthen us even in our trying times and challenges.
