Matthew 5:21-26; You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment. But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, Raca, is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.
Apparently anger it is as deadly in sinning as it is in when you loss your temper. Because when one losses the temper they do the worse of things. Many have committed murder in anger and many have hurt their comrades in anger in ways that may affect their lives for ever.
So Today Christ speaks to us, and the message for us is to not be angry with our brother or sister for we would be submitted to judgement when let ourselves loss like that. Now looking at the commandments and the reason why Christ used them in his analogy is because the commandments talks about sin and anger is the root of a lot of sin.
When one is angry it is easy to go against all or any of the 10 commandments just to seek revenge against a fellow. So by keeping anger away, controlling your temper you actually save yourself from going against the commandments and do yourself a lot of God in Christ.
So brethren, Anger is deadly and if you have anger issues then do take it to the Lord in prayer and surely you will get control over it for there is absolutely nothing that the Lord cannot do.
