There is no one that is born bankrupt. Your background notwithstanding; everyone has a timing and opportunity from the Lord to contact greatness in life. To some it could be painstaking, to others it may come very handy; whichever way it comes; may you be wise and discreet enough not to play loose with it. Many have messed up their God given chances and they have become history while alive.
Some have taken it as a very light matter, and like Esau who sold his birthright for a morsel of porridge, they have given their chance away on the platter of compromise and things just can’t remain the same again. Everyone has his or her season from the Lord: That you lay hold on your season from the Lord and let it translate into the delight of all seasons is my fervent prayer.
Whatever your aspirations are, in line with God’s agenda for your life; there is always a chance or an opportunity to contact it. It a contact that turns your situation lose for the kind of result set forth by God’s Word. Many with this divine contact showing up to announce their enthronement, get unduly puffed up. Before long, they begin to see it as what they have done and not what God has done.
They see it as their “show” without any recourse to the God from Whom all blessings flow. The Bible says in Deuteronomy 8:18 – “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth” – Every opportunity the Lord gives is sustained by your uncompromising inclination towards the precepts of His Word and the provisions of His grace.
Samson was raised and anointed by God with an opportunity to stand as judge over God’s people. He had special instructions from God as divine code and conduct for the preservation of the good hand of God upon his life; but, he played loose and He lost out. He became a laughing stock in the camp of his enemies, because he failed to manage his opportunity from God in the light of God’s Word.
Esau who became profane and despised his divinely appointed opportunity simply because of the craving of the flesh; “found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears” Hebrews 12:17. One reason why God prepares us for the glorious opportunities He brings, is to enhance our handling capacity. That you be discreet enough to stay enthroned with your “time and chance” from the Lord and not mess it up, is my sincerest.
