PROOF BY STANDING THE TEST!

1corinthians 10:13
God is faithful, who will not allow you tempted beyond what you able... to bear.

Back then when I was a kid i had an uncle, he used to say this phrase whenever he met a difficulty. This striking phrase, was pregnant with meaning, it might well be a proverb. (If a house stands up to a violent storm, its solidity is proven. If a pupil passes an examination, it proves his diligence or intelligence,) or both. What about the proof resulting from an illness or mourning or an appalling deception? It shows up the stability or weakness of our own life.

Dear beloved, when we are tested, the reality of our confidence in God is seen. If, during our life, we put the teaching of Jesus into practice, the testing will reveal that our foundation is solid, established on the rock and not on the sand. The result will be the strengthening of our faith and attachment to the savior.

MATT 7:24
whoever hear this sayings of mind and does them, i will liken him to a wise man who built house on the rock.

But the testing of our faith lived in confidence in God also serves to show us his faithfulness. That is the other side that the phrase suggests. God upholds and keep his children at the most difficult times. He is truly a faithful God. Testing most times catches us unawares and would soon cast us down if the savior didn’t come to our aid. This is true for who so ever found his life on the word of God before the difficulties come. Testing shows up his own weakness, but it also reveals our solid foundation and faithfulness of the savior. So let us confide in him forever!
