Queen Esther found favour in the sight of the king, and so was promised blessings up to one-half of the kingdom when she approached the king. There are many lessons to learn from the story of Esther and one is that the king saw Esther. Favour located David while he was take care of the flock of his father.
Favour also found the mad man of Gadara in the tomb where he was and he was healed. God’s blessings can locate you and it doesn't have do with where you are.
The king didn't just see Esther, he paid attention to her. When your day of favour comes, the Almighty God won't just smile at you, He will focus on you. The day favour bearned on the sick man at the pool of Bethesda, the Lord Jesus located him for healing.
A fellow who was jobless notwithstanding his two doctoral degrees, got favour after he gave his life to the Lord Jesus and got several job offers.
Going into the king’s palace uninvited was a very risky thing to do, as we observe in Esther 4:11.
So, we can say Esther went on a suicide mission when she went into the king’s presence without been called.
However, she found favour in the sight of the king: what could have been her last visit to the king became the beginning of a new life not only for Esther but for the whole Jewish community in Shushan. The only barrier to heavenly favour is unrighteousness.
This is why I am urging you to give your life to the Lord Jesus our Saviour. When you do, start to live a life acceptable to the Almighty God, and then you too would enjoy divine favour.
