A belated offering is a commendable present that is offered excessively late. An ideal illustration of this is found in Mark 16:1 :

These woman had genuine love for Jesus. They followed Him wherever He went as a part of His disciples, and they obliged His need. They were there when Jesus was crucified and even stayed behind to see where Jesus was covered After seeing His burial place, they joined assets to put resources into getting ready sweet flavors for the purpose of anointing His body in the grave. Unfortunately enough, it ended up being a belated offering: a wasted effort that didn't serve the planned purpose and an epic disappointment.

Without a doubt, it was the news on the resurrection of the Lord Jesus that serve as consolation. As children of God, we must try not to arrive behind schedule to the presence of God or delaying our praise, worship and work to God beyond the normal time; neither should we offer our pledges, first fruit, tithes or special offering belatedly.

The awful thing about a late contribution is that it is always a chance lost that may never be regained. Esau thoughtlessly lost a truly incredible chance, and despite the fact that he later sought it carefully with tears, it was difficult to reverse the situation. Please do not let this be your story. God bless you.
