What is a timely? It is a commendable gift that is presented to God at the right time. Individuals who offer timely offerings are normally enlivened or persuaded to do as such by concealed divine powers. Such individuals generally tell stories of a strong internal influence encouraging them to carry out a commendable thing, especially in the place of God, in support of His work.

Matt 26:6-13 provides us with an ideal illustration of a timely offering. A couple of days to the very end of the week that Jesus was arrested and crucified, a woman was roused by the Holy Spirit to anoint Him with a valuable ointment. Within the sight of the disciples and a couple of visitors, she poured an alabaster box of extremely valuable ointment on His head. The disciples reacted with anger because they couldn't understand the justification behind her action, however Jesus disclosed it to them in Matthew 26:12:

Just as Jesus said, this woman's valuable ointment was the only perfume that He had on His body all through His three-day sojourn in the grave. After His death, when a few women showed up in the morning of the third day to anoint His body, it was too late because Jesus had already risen from the grave. The one who did this great work got her due reward, stated in Matthew 26:13.

God isn't just keen on your obedience; He is also keen on your timely submission, according to Exodus 22:29. God wants you to offer to Him on time the first part of your produce which has been saved for Him. He wants you to respect Him with one-tenth and bring every one of your contributions without delay. Delayed contributions are not acceptable to God.

In our service of God, He requests our
reliability. Be unwavering in attending to the instructing and preaching session in your congregation. Show up on schedule, properly dressed, and prepared to make meaningful contributions toward the adequacy of all that is going on. Be faithful in the giving of your time, abilities and in delivering different administrations to God.

There is something in particular with regards to rising early to praise and worship God as exemplified by the life of David. Whatever you have chosen to accomplish for God, do it on schedule. He is keen on the timing of your activities.

Abraham, David, Solomon, and other lovers of God in the Bible consistently delivered anything they had to offer to God expeditiously and immediately because a timely offer is acceptable to God.
