LIVING WITH ETERNITY IN VIEW

Hi everyone! it's my pleasure to share with you another message that is capable of renewing our focus and drives in life and also instill a deep sense of pietism in us so as to be more meticulous in our dealings with the world around us.
In such a perilous times like this,
where immorality, corruption, idolatry, worldliness and frivolity have become the other of the day, there is a huge demand on the church to stand up on their feet and initiate the fire of revival on our decaying world. So I decided to post on the necessity of having eternity in view so as to instigate our zeal in initiating revival on our dying world before our exit from this planet earth.
First and foremost I want to express a deep heartfelt gratitude to @sirmoraculous,@dwayne16, Apostle @darlenys, @steem church, @sirknight, @maxdevalue @evegrace,@magdalene whose write ups have motivated me to come up with this, God bless you all.

LIVING WITH ETERNITY IN VIEW
TEXT: 2Corinthians 5:1[1FOR WE know that if the tent which is our earthly home is destroyed (dissolved), we have from God a building, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.]

INTRODUCTION
Considering the account of creation in Genesis 2:1, the Bible tells us that the entire work of creation, both in heaven and on earth were finished, the same Hebrew word "Kalah" translated were finished which connotes completion of task means absolute or irredeemable destruction. This implies that even from Genesis, God has determined the expiry of the entire created order, including you and I. However, our text has shown us that even though we expire here, we have the hope of living eternal life with God in Heaven.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO LIVE WITH ETERNITY IN VIEW?

1. It means living everyday as if it is going to be the last. Romans 14:8

2. It means focussing on the things above.

3. It also means to be dead to sin and alive unto righteous living. Romans 6:11.

WHY SHOULD WE LIVE WITH ETERNAL LIFE IN VIEW?

1. Because eternal life is meant for us. John 3:5

2. Because Jesus commands it. Matthew 6:33

HOW CAN WE LIVE WITH ETERNAL LIFE IN VIEW?

1. By surrendering our lives to Jesus Christ. John 3:5

2. By having fellowship with God through prayer and studying the word of God. Genesis 5:24[And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him]

SOME BENEFITS OF LIVING WITG ETERNITY IN VIEW

1. You shall live in God's rich blessings. Matthew 6:33[But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you]

2. You shall have peace with God. Romans 5:1[Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ]

3. You shall reign with God in Heaven. John 14:3.[And when (if) I go and make ready a place for you, I will come back again and will take you to Myself, that where I am you may be also. ]

CONCLUSION
finally my beloved brethren,hell is real , and heaven is real, you cannot afford to miss your chance of amending your ways before the Lord today so that you can be ready for eternal rest. Bear in mind that no man can tell when, where and how he is going to breath his last breathe. Get hold of eternal life before that dreadful moment comes to you . Give your life to Jesus Christ now.
