It is very good to follow instructions given by anyone you think of to be your guide or guardian. More often, we miss a lot of chances, breakthroughs, and victories in the light of the fact that we fail to pay attention to the details of the instructions given to us. The early apostles also struggled with this lack of good attention to detailed instructions and we must learn from them.
When our Jesus Christ came face to face with the reality of the cross, He excepted that it wasn't an easy burden to bear. We have only one way to pass the trials of these present times which is prayer. The Lord Jesus went to pray and told the disciples to do the same though he did not ask them to pray for him, but themselves.
The Lord Jesus said they should watch and pray so as not to enter into temptation but the disciples were busy sleeping. At a point, the Lord was so moved by their coldness to the reality at hand. To make it to the end of our Christian journey, let us pay focus to the details of the Lord Jesus's injunctions and we will be glad we did.
The Bible says that a woman should cover while praying. Apostle Paul did not talk much about the reason a woman should cover her head while praying or prophesying. However, a conscientious child of God wouldn't just ask too many questions before she jumps at this simple instruction of covering the head while praying.
We should learn to listen to the word of God whether it is favorable to do so or not. Focusing on the details of the Lord's instructions can make the difference between fast results and delayed blessings. The Almighty God asked Abraham to leave his whole family and he obeyed the instruction but not totally as he took Lot, his nephew along with him. The manifestation of the Lord's promise in the life of Abraham didn't manifest until Lot separated from him.
