INSTRUCTION AND SUBMISSION (2)

Good afternoon beautiful family of God. Trust you are doing great this weekend. Glory to God. Yesterday we considered the topic, Instruction and Submission (1) and today we will continue from how God instructed Noah on how to build the ark in preparation for the coming flood.

7:1 And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

Because of the righteousness of Noah, God decided to spare him and his entire family and household. After the ark had been made, God asked Noah to enter into the ark with his family to be exempted from the storm and flood. Did Noah and his family go alone?

7:2-3 Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female. Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.

To answer the question I previously asked, No, Noah didn't go with his family alone. He also went along with land, sea, and air animals in the way God instructed. Noah never hesitated to do exactly how God commanded him. Now what else?

7:4-6 For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth. And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him. And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.

Despite the age of Noah, he submitted totally to the instuctions of God. Ask yourself, "How old am I and am I following the instructions of God"?

7:7-9 And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood. Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth. There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.

As God commanded, they all went in to the ark in twos just as God had instructed. May we always listen to God and obey him totally in Jesus name. Amen.
