Beloved, I encourage you today to find time to sit at the Master's feet daily. You may have mentally accented to it, but deep down in your heart you are convinced that it is not possible These are not the days to be careless about how you live your life. Otherwise, the enemy will pluck out your eyes. A whole lot is happening in the society today, which are all the enemy's tricks to keep you from sitting down to receive from God. If you can't sit down, then he has got you because it is only from God that you receive hope, faith, strength, and courage for everyday living.

Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet and listened to his teaching. But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.”But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are eanxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen fthe good portion, which will not be taken away from her.” Luke 10:38-42

Every thing is fast paced today. We wake up and leave for work early and return late: some people run shifts and even work at weekends. Others are burdened with children, family, classes and the list is endless. However, in the midst of all these, you must find time to sit at His feet. No substitute for this because the Bible says in Acts 17:28 "In Him we live, move and have our being". Outside Him, we are non-existent. Now we have various resources at our disposal, devotional app, Bible app, etc. You can access these resources at the touch of a button, so you really have no excuse. Jesus said to Martha: "you are troubled about too many things but one thing is needful".

God has all the answers you would ever need. Take a quality decision to sit at His feet from now. Don't put the word of God (Jesus) in a strait jacket. Martha probably did, she felt food should have been served first before any other thing, but Jesus, the sovereign Lord thought otherwise. May God help us. Amen.
