Luke 1:36-38
36 What’s more, your relative Elizabeth has become pregnant in her old age! People used to say she was barren, but she has conceived a son and is now in her sixth month.
37 For the word of God will never fail.”
38 Mary responded, “I am the Lord’s servant. May everything you have said about me come true.” And then the angel left her.(Living Bible)
What I want to draw your attention to is verse 37
For the word of God will never fail (Living Bible)
For with God nothing shall be impossible.(KJV Bible)
For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment
(Amplified Bible)
I love it from Amplified Bible, with God nothing is ever impossible and God's word is power and His words no matter how long it will tarry, it will come to fulfilment because of the power that followed the word.
Elizabeth was old, she was nicknamed barren and at old age no one expected any thing like child from her because she was at her menopause stage. But thank God for God, God sent His word forth for the family and thank God for Elizabeth she believed, though it tarried but she believed and waited, and she was blessed with a son.
God's word can not be measured with earthly time because God's time is always the best and with Him there is no impossibilities.
Stop complaining, stop lamenting, God is with you and with Him by your side everything you want is possible.
Emulate Mary, her response to God's message was too powerful, she believed and never doubted it, she did not question God, she knew as a child of God that God knows the best for her.
Read verse 38 again.
God's word is powerful and will surely come to fulfilment at it's time.
