Caminar con Jesús tiene dos problemas que dificultan caminar con Él. El primero es la naturaleza del antiguo pecado. Aunque hayas aceptado a Cristo, tu vieja naturaleza todavía está allí. Esta es la parte en la que quieres seguir tu propio camino y olvidar la voluntad de Dios, como aquella que te impide amar a los demás, te hace ofenderlos y te hace hacer cosas que te hacen sentir mal después.

El segundo problema es tu enemigo, Satanás, el enemigo de todos los que caminan con Jesús y siempre trata de destruirte lo más posible. Él tratará de hacer esto guiándote por un camino diferente al de Jesús. Si no, tropieza con pequeñas cosas que, con suerte, evitarán que abandones tus creencias en Jesús. Lo principal de esta enseñanza es que te mantengas cerca de él, ya que él te conoce y sabe lo que hay adelante en tu camino, para guiarte con mayor seguridad ante cualquier peligro.

Walking with Jesus has two problems that make walking with Him difficult. The first is the nature of old sin. Even though you have accepted Christ, your old nature is still there. This is the part where you want to go your own way and forget God's will, like the one that prevents you from loving others, makes you offend them, and makes you do things that make you feel bad after doing it.

The second problem is your enemy, Satan, the enemy of everyone who walks with Jesus and always tries to destroy you as much as possible. He will try to do this by leading you down a different path than Jesus. If not, he stumbles over little things that will hopefully keep you from abandoning your belief in Jesus. The main thing in this teaching is that you stay close to him, since he knows you and what lies ahead in your path, to guide you more safely in the face of any danger.
