What is the greatest gift you hav ever received from a friend and What is the highest you have given? Giving should be a way of life and how we should live. Giving is love and God is love. You can not claim to love God if you do not love your neighbors. Loving God is saying we know him, and he who knows him, keeps his commands.

Love is loyalty and loyalty is service. Service brings about laying your own for others, that is why God laid His only son for us that we might live. He gave us unconditionally which means that in the same way we must be willing to give for the sake of others.
Always abide in the love of God, because it is perfect. He loves us all uniquely and without partiality. Hence what he requires of us is to love others just as we love our selves. Going further ahead, it is important we know that if we say we love God but do not love others, then we are liars and have no truth in us.
The take home and what I think you can try as individuals is practicing true and sincere love to others. Giving out even when it seem very impossible to do that and when it is clear you might not have enough. Those critical times are not just ordinary, once you forget yourself for the sake of love of service; there is surely some hard stones that is being rolled away for you.
As we journey into another week, let us bear in mind that love is the unique way of opening every closed door in our lives. Love others as you love yourself and do unto them what you would like to be done to you. God is love, if you claim to love him and yet does not love others; does that not make you a liar?
