DON’T BE LUKEWARM
I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. (Revelation 3:15-16)
To be lukewarm is to lack conviction. For you, anything goes. It’s a sign of instability. This obviously is not a good identity to carry as a person. Unfortunately there are a lot of believers in this category. Fraternizing yourself with things of the world as a Christian puts you on a plane of imbalance. To be thrown out of God's mouth is to not be taken serious by God no matter your concerns.
Staying on a middle ground as a Christian isn't the best decision for your Christian life. Be on God’s side. There must be a course to follow. Deciding to go on the path of God may come with some persecutions but it ends up working out for your good. Going on the path of God may stir your family, friends or community against you, but as Peter said to the Chief Priest, “Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.” (Acts 4:19).
Don't be a captive to the deceptions of this world. As a Christian you have the best life to live. This life is in obeying and doing the will of God by the help of the Holy Ghost. Choose the path of God and be bold about it in Jesus' name.
DECREE
I stand for righteousness and the truth of the gospel. Regardless of the persecutions and troubles, I'm ready to give it all to God. I live for God forever. Amen
