Isaiah 54:17 (NLT)
• God has spoken that no weapon turned against His people, His servants, will succeed.
HE said you will silence every voice raised up to accuse you.
- The passage also says these benefits are enjoyed by the servants of God.
THE benefits of being preserved and vindicated are for the servants of God.
• Who are the servants of God?
THE Greek word translated servants is "ebed" and the primitive "abad" which means to serve, serving, that is a servant: those who work for God, serve God, Or worshippers of God.
IN other words, the benefits of being preserved and vindicated are for the worshippers of God and those who work to propagate His kingdom on Earth.
• There are many who live in fear, they are afraid of what other people might do against them.
- Some even have gone to the devil to receive power for protection.
THE TRUTH IS, there is no protection outside of Christ Jesus.
IN other words, If you are not saved, you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you are not secured and saved. - Any protection gotten from the devil is a ruse, trick or deceit.
- Those who wanted to fortify themselves against evil attacks and went to the devil have gotten more than what they bargained for.
- Whatever is promised by the devil is a mirage, an illusion, not realistic.
YOUR Life is secured in Christ Jesus alone (Proverbs 18:10).
• A man
I heard of a man who said his father has fortified him and secured his life, being the only male child of his father. In addition, he said he himself has gone to seek for more powers in order to make his life more secured.
According to him he says if he dies at all, it is because it has been appointed that Man should die. However, he married but does not have any issue, children.
The devil promises him to give him long Life but denies him fruitfulness and other benefits that he could have received and enjoyed from God.
THE devil has nothing good to give anyone, he is a deceiver, a counterfeiter!
• The devil is the father of lies:
"You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. HE WAS A MURDERER FROM THE BEGINNING, AND DOES NOT STAND IN THE TRUTH, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, FOR HE IS A LIAR AND THE FATHER OF IT" (John 8:44).
- The devil came to steal, and to kill, and to DESTROY, while Jesus Christ came to give life, even in abundance (John 10:10).
IF the devil gives you anything at all, he will collect double IN the place of what he has given to you. - Whoever goes to the devil for help would forfeit or lose all the benefits accounted to him Or her by God.
• Some have delved into witchcrafts and the occultists
- They have been into occult practices: things connected with magical powers Or things that cannot be explained by reason or science—in a lay man language.
- Some people in the nations where the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ has not been fully established are INTO idolatry, which to them is cultural, but there is nothing cultural about idolatry.
IDOLATRY is of the devil!
"What am I saying then? That an idol is anything, or what is offered to idol is anything?
RATHER, THAT THING WHICH THE GENTILES SACRIFICE THEY SACRIFICE TO DEMONS AND NOT TO GOD, AND I DO NOT WANT YOU TO HAVE FELLOWSHIP WITH DEMONS."
1 Corinthians 10:19,20 (NKJV)
- A believer should not seek Or accept the services of witch doctors, sorcerers, fortune tellers, Or stargazers.
- "Do not be unequivocally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship [in common] has righteousness with lawlessness? AND WHAT COMMUNION HAS LIGHT WITH DARKNESS?
- AND WHAT ACCORD HAS CHRIST WITH BELIAL? OR WHAT PART HAS A BELIEVER WITH AN UNBELIEVER?
- AND WHAT AGREEMENT HAS THE TEMPLE OF GOD WITH IDOLS? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people."

- Believers are not to touch Or be involved in: Divination, witchcraft, medium, and idolatry (Ezekiel 13:6-8; 1 Samuel 27:7-20).
- "When you come into the land which the LORD your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations [detestable acts] of those nations.
- "There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire [be burned as an offering to an idol], OR ONE WHO PRACTICES WITCHCRAFT, OR A SOOTHSAYER, OR ONE WHO INTERPRETS OMENS, OR A SORCERER,
- "or one who conjures spells, or a medium, or a spiritist, OR ONE WHO CALLS UP THE DEAD.
- "FOR ALL WHO DO THESE THINGS ARE AN ABOMINATIONS TO THE LORD, and because of these abominations the LORD your God drives them out before you.
- "YOU SHALL BE BLAMELESS BEFORE THE LORD YOUR GOD.
- "For these nations which you will dispossess listened to soothsayers and diviners; BUT AS FOR YOU, THE LORD YOUR God HAS NOT APPOINTED SUCH FOR YOU [allowed you to do so]."
