A LITTLE LOWER THAN THE ANGELS [PSALM 8]

“O LORD, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens!
“When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,
What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?”
FOR YOU HAVE MADE HIM A LITTLE LOWER THAN THE ANGELS, And You have crowned him with glory and honour."
You have made him to have dominion over the works of your hands; You have put all things under his feet,
All sheep and oxen—even the beast of the field,
The birds of the air, and the fish of the Sea that pass through the paths of the seas."
Psalm 8:1,3-8 (NKJV)

• God is awesome. He is too much!

Considering the heavens and all He has made, no one should boast before Him (1 Corinthians 1:29,31).
Nature speaks about God (Romans 1:19,20).
However, if God gives you the opportunity as an individual to do a particular thing, you should see it as a privilege.
If someone is not willing to do God's bidding, He has any number of people He can use—He can do without any man, no one can hold Him to ransom.
God would not need the help or assistance of anyone to do whatever He purposes to do.

• Truth: Every servant of God should always see it As a privilege to be considered HIS minister.

God made man a little lower than Elohim–God (Psalm 8:5).
~ Man has God’s attributes.
~ We have ability to reason, and comprehend things.
~ We have ability to plan things and accomplish whatever the plan may be: “And the LORD said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; NOW NOTHING THAT THEY PROPOSE TO DO WILL BE WITHHELD FROM THEM" (Genesis 11:6).
~ Ability to bring to fulfilment what they have proposed was given to man through their oneness and language.
~ Through their oneness and language, they could bring to fulfilment whatever they have determined to do.
God crowned man with glory and honour.
GOD made him have dominion over the works of His hands; God puts all things under his feet (Psalm 8:6,7).
NOTE: God created man to rule and dominate the world:

“So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth” ” (Genesis 1:27-28).

Every man has the mandate to rule, reign, and dominate on the earth.
God has given you power to make a change on the surface of the earth.
Man thinks of building a tower to reach heavens and God knew they could do it because they have the potential to do it (Genesis 11:6).
God knew what He deposited in Man, thus He came to confuse their language (Genesis 11:7).
GOD knew without confusing their language, they would succeed in what they had purposed to do (Genesis 11:6)

• Truth:
God lives on the inside of you as a believer, in the person of the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:9).

You are God’s image, replica and His likeness for that matter.
You just have to perform, hence, you need to rise to the grace of God on the inside of you.
YOU have the potential to think and make things happen.
Come up with a plan ordained by God, and bring the plan to the fulfilment Or reality.

• In the work of Ministry:
vision is born in your heart by the Holy Spirit.

The vision born in your heart by the Holy Spirit is what God would want you to accomplish on earth.
You have a great deposit of grace on your inside to make things happen on the earth.
Visions come from dissatisfactions and burdens.
Visions or dreams starts with seeing what is wrong about a thing, place, situation or condition.
In the process, the desire to find solution to that wrong or problem that you have seen comes up in your heart.
When you have a desire to see a change happens in a particular thing, a change about a condition or situation, then you have given birth to a vision.
To give birth to visions start with being dissatisfied with a situation or condition—you do not want to accept or keep maintaining the status quo.
Your dissatisfaction leads to agitation, strong desire, or Passion to see a change.
A way out of any problem that you devised is called the vision.
God wants to use you to expand His kingdom on earth.
God is giving you a passion for something to be done. Something to be corrected on earth.
Note: Passion comes when your mind is renewed, and YOU begin to see things in God’s point of view (Romans 12:1,2).
You begin to see why a thing that is wrong should not be so. Others around you may not see it, may not have burden or passion for it, but you have it anyway.
Visions emanate from the dissatisfaction for a status quo.

“… Hanani one of my brethren came with men from Judah; and I asked them concerning the Jews who had escaped, who had survived the captivity, and concerning Jerusalem.
And they said to me, “The survivors who are left from the captivity in the province ARE THERE IN GREAT DISTRESS AND REPROACH. THE WALL OF JERUSALEM IS ALSO BROKEN DOWN, AND ITS GATES ARE BURNED WITH FIRE.”
So it was, WHEN I HEARD THESE WORDS, THAT I SAT DOWN AND WEPT, AND MOURNED FOR MANY DAYS; I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven.”

• God is great and excellent.
GOD rules in the affairs of men: "O LORD, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth!” (Psalm 8:9).

• You will not fail in Jesus’ name.
