- "Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, AND TRY ME NOW IN THIS,” Says the LORD of HOSTS, “IF I WILL NOT OPEN FOR YOU THE WINDOWS OF HEAVEN AND POUR OUT FOR YOU SUCH BLESSING THAT THERE WILL NOT BE ROOM ENOUGH TO RECEIVE IT.
- “AND I WILL REBUKE THE DEVOURER FOR YOUR SAKES, So that he will NOT destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine FAIL to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the LORD of hosts;
- “And all nations will CALL YOU BLESSED, FOR YOU WILL BE A DELIGHTFUL LAND,” Says the LORD of hosts."

• God said we should try Him by doing what He has instructed on Giving; tithings and offerings, if He would not prove Himself.
Prove or Test God with your finances. Giving is a principle that will open your heaven and keep it open:
"Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so that there will be food enough in my Temple; IF YOU DO, I WILL OPEN UP THE WINDOWS OF HEAVEN for you and pour out a blessing so great you won’t have ROOM ENOUGH TO TAKE IT IN! “TRY IT! LET ME PROVE IT TO YOU!"
Malachi 3:10 (The Living Bible)Kingdom Principles
There are principles that govern the Kingdom of God on earth. GIVING is one of such principles.
The devil cannot hold you bound, if you understand godly principles and apply them correctly.
It is one thing to know the principles, and it is another thing to practice and apply the principles correctly.
A lot of Christians know the Kingdom principles, yet they failed to practice, apply the principles, because of unbelief or inability to deny the self—flesh.
Some apply these principles but wrongly, with wrong motives or lack of understanding.
If you do not follow the Kingdom principles and you are praying, nothing will work. God is moved by Obedience to His Word, also known as, principles of the Kingdom.
Crying and being sentimental about the problem at hand does not move God like being OBEDIENT to His Word, that is, practicing the principles of His, that are highlighted on the pages of the Scripture.
Your prayer would be answered speedily, when you put to work or practice the Kingdom principles. What gives credibility to your requests in Prayer and granted speedy answers is, your OBEDIENT to His Word (1 John 5:14,15).
• Take note:
In most cases Christians' problems are not the devil and demons, they are: inability or failure to know or understand the Kingdom principles; and in some cases, it is the failure to apply the known principles; or the principles not being applied correctly.
God demands to open heaven for you financially is to bring your tithes and offerings to His house that there may be food in His house (Malachi 3:10).
The house of God should not be lacking, the work of God should not be deprived.
THE Scripture says: “IF YOU DO, says the LORD of Heaven's Army…” (Malachi 3:10 NLT).The 'If' is a conditional word because you may choose not to agree with that and may want to have your way.
God would not force you to Give; it is a means of blessing, If you do obey.
If You Do
(i) You will experience abundance (Malachi 3:11).God will open the windows of heaven that you will not have the room enough to contain it (Malachi 3:10).
Why the Windows and not the doors? Because the windows are usually much more in numbers in a house than the doors.
(ii) God will rebuke or prevent the devourer (Malachi 3:11).Sicknesses, attack of robbers, being a victim of fraudulence, which is being cheated and taking your possession illegally, and all manners of loses; are the DEVOURER.
Whatever you spend money on that does not add to you, bring increase which cannot be accounted for; or the money spent which cannot be pinpointed, IS A DEVOURER.
(iii) Your business will not dry, or be shriveled (Malachi 3:11).Your business will not be distressed, If you do!
(iv) You shall be called blessed by all nations, for you will be a delightful land (Malachi 3:12).Your life shall be comely and beautiful, If you do!
God beautifies those who are Givers. When you try or prove God in it, as He said, you will see God's goodness and His glory radiating in your life.
Why does God need a proof before He could open the Heaven for You:
(a) He wants to test your obedience (Genesis 22:2,3,10-12).
(b) He wants to test your faith.He wants to know how diligent you are in serving and worshipping Him (Hebrews 11:6).
(c) He wants to know your heart (2 Chronicles 6:9).Your giving shows the state of your heart towards God; His Word and work.
(d) He wants you to give something that He can work with (2 Kings 4:2; 1 Kings 17:13).A farmer who planted nothing in the soil would harvest nothing, no matter the Strength and greatness of his faith and the fierceness of his prayer.
God always demands for something as an act of faith and obedience, before He could work.
God’s blessings are conditional. He will demand for the fulfilment of a condition before He can bless whoever desires His help.
Many want God's Blessings without meeting His demands.
Until you meet what He demanded, It is then you can receive from Him.
Obey His Word that your heaven might be opened.
Conclusion
• If you can follow God's principles, you will experience His blessings and goodnesses.
• Prayer:
I declare your heaven opened in Jesus' name.
Every devourer is rebuked in your life Jesus' name.
As you begin to obey, practice what you have been taught, you will begin to experience God's faithfulness in Jesus' name.
