When you come to the knowledge of the level of attack the Church is under in these last days, you will see the value in the prayer for grace and peace.
The story of Noah shows the importance of grace in a man's life. Grace found Noah when God saw man's evil way and decided to completely destroy them out of the face of the earth.
Through grace, Noah lived over the evil of his age and was saved from the overflowing of God's anger.
Thinking about the prophecy on the perilous nature of the last days, it takes abundant grace of God to live holy in this current world. Evil thoughts that look to normalize ungodly things like covetousness, sex before marriage, homosexuality, racism, ethnic cleansing, etc are characteristics of these last days. Such evil thoughts have made living holy difficult in our present world.
Someone was sharing his experience that shows this prophecy being fulfilled. He when to a certain place to minister God's word where he met two individuals who happened to also be a guest minister who was busy chatting while the praise and worship session was going on in the church.
Eventually, these two guest minister was called from the office of the host pastor prior to the time when they were to preach but one of the guest ministers said to the other, We know what they like to hear so let us go and tell them what they love to hear.
It takes the abundant grace of God to get away from the charm of their motivational flattery and speech ability. While Noah discovered grace to endure the flood, we need abundant to get away from the pool of fire. This abundant grace is only found in Jesus Christ. I subsequently urge you to look for this grace through our Lord.
Everybody needs abundant grace to get away from the coming overflowing of God's anger on the earth. The reason for this grace isn't to carry on with a rebellious life; rather, it awards us the capacity to live holy, even in this unreasonable generation.
Reach out to God in prayer and ask for that abundant grace, and you will find that you will start to do effortlessly those good things you couldn't do before.
