It is wonderful to be a conqueror but it is even much better to be more than a conqueror. Christians, being the brides of the Lord Jesus, can be compared to the wife of a boxing champion. A boxing champion is a conqueror, but the wife is more than a conqueror in the light of the fact that when the champion is awarded the winning belt, he then gave the belt to the wife who did not even fight.
In the same manner, our Lord Jesus Christ conquered for us by dying and resurrecting on the third day and gave us the victory. This is the reason why Apostle Paul's statement wrote that in all these things we are more than conquerors.
Our Lord Jesus Christ has received more than enough grace and mercy for us as Christian with His complete obedience to the Father. This is contrary to disobedience of
the first Adam according to Apostle Paul.
Thanks be to God, the second Adam brought us to triumph over sin and death through His atonement. We must surrender our life Jesus Christ and acknowledge Him as our Lord and Saviour for victory over Satan, sin, and all its attendant woes.
The Lord Himself has assured us that if we are born again, we have overcome the world. You won't just overcome the world; you will also be more than a conqueror if you give your life to Lord and accept the Lord Jesus. With Jesus Christ as your Lord, you will be a conqueror and an overcomer.
