Our Lord Jesus Christ John 14:1-3 assured us of His second coming. For sure, he is coming to take us to be with Him, so we might be the place where He is. The size of our heavenly home is huge to the point that it has assumed control for more than 2,000 years to total it, as the quantity of saints keeps increasing continually.
Thinking about the omnipotent power of the Most High to do all things, this might sound ridiculous; notwithstanding, the methods of the Lord are unsearchable, and the prerogative of mysteries has a place with Him alone. When dealing with mysteries like this, we should simply believe and take Him by His word.
In other words, he doesn't want us to see our present place of residence here on earth as our ultimate destination. He wants us to be aware of a superior spot being ready for us. The people who are busy killing, taking, and stealing assets to gather mansions for themselves here on earth are being foolish.
Such individuals don't have an understanding of what is good for them on the last day. Also, the people who wouldn't want to be born again as a result of the material things of this world don't realize they stand to lose in eternity. Actually, there is adequate space for every individual who is born again in the kingdom of God. The people who teach that there is no heaven anyplace and that our heavenly mansions will be here on earth don't have spiritual comprehension of the scriptures.
Jesus said if what He announced to us about our heavenly mansions wasn't true, the Lord Jesus would have told us so. Aside from the fact that he can't lie, Jesus has no reason to lie about this. Faith in this promise drove Paul to pen the word of 2 Corinthians 5:1, where he alluded to the anticipated substitution of our physical bodies and temporal of a habitation with celestial bodies and heavenly mansion respectively.
Sadly, the people who miss out on the heavenly mansion being ready by the Lord Jesus Christ will have their position in the devil's dwelling place, which is the lake of fire. There is no center way about it. It is important to acknowledge Jesus as your Lord and Savior, and ensure you don't live or die with any unconfessed sin in your life.
