One wonderful thing about holiness is that it is what makes the Almighty God who He is. In our own understanding as human beings, if we were to be asked the question, Who is God?, some of us might say the Almighty God is love, powerful, merciful, faithful, etc.
But if the same question is to be asked from angels, they would chorus God is Holy. To know the Lord more seriously requires the deep study of the word of God. Every Christian needs to study and meditate on the word of God all the time. Mere reading the Bible is different from studying the Bible and sincere meditation. Studying is an intentional effort to acquire knowledge.
Meditation on the word of God has to do with reflecting, or thinking deep on His word. The Almighty God instructed Joshua to meditate on the word of God all the time because consistent meditation leads to good success. There is a sequence to knowing the Almighty God more intimately.
Meditate on the word of God every day and also be obedient to the word of God unconditionally. Do you want to know the perfect will of the Lord for every area of your life?. Renew your mind through consistent studying and meditation on the word of the Lord and also keep the Lord's word in your heart, allow it to take root in your whole being, and act on it. Let the Lord know that you will always do things that will be pleasing to Him from today and He will never leave you.
