The year of Jubilee in a simple term is the year of liberation or freedom from persecution and servitude. The word “Jubilee” is gotten from the Hebrew word jobel, meaning “ram’s horn”, in the light of the fact that a ram’s horn is used as a trumpet to declare the beginning of the year of jubilee. It is a year when slaves are been set free and debt are been let go with no condition, amongst the Israelites. Under the New Covenant, we experience Jubilee when we give our lives to the Lord Jesus. An encounter with the Lord Jesus is the accomplishments of Jubilee in its fullness.

He is our Savior who came to redeem us from the bondage which our spiritual destitution has heard us bound. The spirit of life in Jesus Christ gives us freedom from the law of sin and death. Jesus Christ paid the price, repaid all our debts, and freed us from every form of slavery we were under through His death on the cross Calvary and also His resurrection.

Throughgh the work of salvation done by the Lord Jesus, we have access to peace in areas of life that are found only in Him. Whoever wants to experience true and total freedom must come to the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the one who can give us freedom in all ramifications: physically, spiritually, and mentally. If you are experiencing true Jubilee from the Lord Jesus, I congratulate you. However, if you know you aren't experiencing total freedom, today is the day of salvation.

You need to make a decision to give all that concerns you to the Lord and commit to living according to his will, and you will start to experience the complete freedom that He gives.
