There are two essential instructions in Isaiah 60: 1 - Arise and Shine.
From this point forward, anything dead in your life will arise in the mighty name of Jesus. To somebody sleeping, it means to awake.
If you have been dozing spirituality, the Lord is saying to this set of people "Arise!" To one who has been on one spot, it could signify 'move.'
All that has been on one spot in your life will arise now in the strong name of Jesus.
To the individual already moving, it signifies 'speed up'. You might have been attempting to have barely enough to pay the rent and eat. An end comes to your struggle in the mighty name of Jesus.
To one already running, it signifies 'fly.' This set of people flying have left struggling behind.
To some set of people flying already, 'arise' signifies to move from a great height to more prominent statures.
The second instruction to consider in Isaiah 60:1 is to shine. To shine means to display your light.
Matthew 5:14-16 says you are the light of the world. God wants you to utilize your abilities for His glory.
Whatever you do, any place you are, and whoever you are, be sure you have an impact to the glory of God. Help people around you, console those who are weak in heart, preach the gospel to sinners, heal the sick and raise the dead. It is very possible. This is God's will for you. Arise and Shine!
