Only those who have fought a battle in life can give an opinion about it, there is nothing that generates more fear than knowing beforehand that we must face something or someone, knowing that you must fill yourself with courage to fight, even when you feel you have no strength and you are not qualified, is one of the worst sensations in life when we talk about the human side.

Even those great men of ancient times who fought so many battles, also felt fear and the desire to leave everything, but still knew how to strengthen themselves to go to that fight and why not, win it.

In a battle nobody wants to lose and even knowing that you have deficient areas you prepare for it, to achieve victory, or you go and fight just for honor, cowards there are many? Yes, but those who are brave and stand in front of the battle are the winners, the one who turned back will never taste the taste of victory, and likewise if his side loses he will die, however the one who decides to fight can win the battle and also the war.

Going into battle is not easy, it requires courage and preparation, but your greatest weapon in battle is your God, have you read the story of how the people of Israel defeated the Midianites?

The Midianites had the people of Israel in fear for several years, because of them Israel was in poverty, but Israel had an almighty God to whom they turned to for help. They were oppressed just as you may be oppressed now, only you know what are those Midianites that torment you and have caused your life to urgently need divine intervention.
There was a man named Gideon, whom God chose as a leader to deliver his people. But contrary to what everyone could have imagined, it was not as they might have thought, but in God's way.

Sometimes we want God to do things our way, perhaps the people of Israel would think that God being the almighty would send them an army that would wipe out the Midianites, but God had to show them who was the God in whom they had believed.

The first thing God did was to give the order to Gideon to destroy the sanctuary they had built to Baal and to build an altar to God. It is time for you to learn to discern and analyze what God wants to speak to you, and to tear down everything in your life that prevents you from worshiping God alone.

Gideon gathered many men but God told him that they were too many, He knew that if the Israelites won with so many men they could say that they did not need God, and his purpose was to show them that they had the one and only God.
God used a strategic way to select the men who would go to the battle front, look at the occurrences of God, the one who went to drink water from the river and lowered his face, that one did not go, he was left with only 300 men to fight against an army of 135,000 soldiers.

God told them to take a horn and a pitcher with a torch inside, they gathered around the camp of the Midianites they blew the horns which confused the Midianites and they killed each other because of the fear this caused them, they thought they were surrounded by a great army.

Here we have several teachings, one fear can make you do crazy things and make unfounded decisions, another God has the solution no matter how serious the problem may seem to us, for Him it is not so, so let us not despair and let us put in His hands all our life, let us release every battle with the King.

A battle is won not by the strongest but by the wisest.
