What saved the sheep from destruction is because “the sheep did not hear them”
They came but they were not the shepherd, they were thieves and robbers, but thank God for the sheep who knew who’s voice to hear and whose steps to follow
The outcome of your destiny largely depends on who you hear and who you follow!
Jesus rightly told them in vs 10 “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
Any voice that is not the voice of Jesus will leave your life shattered, it may look like you are making progress but alas you are heading towards destruction
The enemy has an A1 in stealing and destroying people’s destiny!
~He keeps you busy and distracts you from praying because his agenda is to steal from you
~He makes reading the Bible a boring exercise because he knows that’s where the power of salvation is hidden
~He tricks you into abandoning your faith by sending you people that will make you feel like this Jesus thing sef
~He lures you into secret sins without letting you know what the exchange is and you call it ‘having fun’
Aaah! Did you ask Samson what happened?
For every sugar that is presented by the enemy there’s an unrevealed bitter fruit inside, he doesn’t give you details, time does!
You have the right to your choices in life but you do not have the right to its consequences, your choices drags their own consequences, that’s why the enemy does well in icing the choice and hiding the consequences just to get your partnership!
God knows this, that’s why He said “This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live” Deuteronomy 30:19
There are two choices to make from, God has presented them to us and as the CEO of your own life, He has left that part for you to decide! He gave Jesus that we may have life, and has suggested that we should choose life!
And again Jesus said “...I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them...”
every other voice that is not the voice of Christ, is the voice of the thieve and the robber just waiting to devour your destiny!
The choice is yours!
