Hello @HeartChurch family, it's a new year and I am so grateful to God for sustaining each and every one of us through the difficult year - 2020. Sustained by His love to see this new year, we too are constrained to pass this love along for all to see and receive.
Being a part of this community of love over the last three years has been nothing short of amazing. Though not very active in recent times but my heart is always with you and the values of spreading love as received from this community still continues and flows through my heart.
It's exciting to see what God is using @Sirknight and @darlenys01 to do for believers on the blockchain. God is expanding us to the places of more blessings but we do not forget where we started and where we call family.
As we break into this new year, I have resolved to be an instrument of blessings to the people and nations of the world by spreading love out of the abundance that I have received. The emphasis would be in academics. That has always been my scope of influence.
As for 2021, I will be branding books with crypto communities that support this vision and such would be given out free as "charity" to students in Nigeria who are interested in academics but lack the resources. There is hope for them through the long standing #SeedsOfLove project.
There was no better community to start with than @Heartchurch as we can see in the pictures, though with Hive blockchain. The next batches would capture the essence of Steem blockchain and Telos as well. All to help spread love to humanity through the blockchain and cryptocurrency communities.
I was glad to brand and gift out test samples of not just books, but with Bibles and pen to the children and it started in the church. More of this would be coming and the goal is to gift 1 million books to children for free. This would go a long way to tell the world how valuable the blockchain could be and cryptocurrency to humanity.
Thanks to @Tomlee and a host of others for supporting this initiative. We'll work as a family to spread as much love as we can to the dying world.
Just like I made this call to Hive communities, I am also intimating other Steem communities who seek to support this project which would be a great form to spread the news of what they do to Nigerians and by extension Africans. As I promised, this will be my major project for the year 2021 and the distribution would cut through secondary through tertiary institution students.
Schools would be resuming on Monday, 18th January, 2021 and I decided to make sample prints in order to confirm quality as well as cost. With the branded exercise books, students out there would be informed about HeartCHurch and the Hive.
The fun part of the exercise is that I'm involved in the entire book production process from design to the final finishing. The sample copies were finished using manual machines as the automated machines are used for bulk productions. It was exciting to have the young people who were a part of the production team take a shot with me and @Tomlee.
As at today's exchange rate and with the present prices of goods in Nigeria, producing a 60 leaved exercise book costs NGN 130 ($0.32), that's equivalent to 1.7 STEEM. I trust that bulk production would help reduce the cost. I'll be going for batches of 100 each time or multiples of 100 depending on amount of funds generated. However, the prices would always vary with crypto prices and exchange rates.
The books would be distributed free to all beneficiaries and it's my dream that it would in the future get into the hands of all learners in Nigeria.
