I've been recounting the experiences I've had in the last two years, the pressures, pains, heartbreaks and disappointments and how God healed me through it all. Coupled with the corona virus outbreak last year, and how God preserved me and my family, I've been left with one thing that is to rejoice.
Going deeper, I can see that I was never falling short of God's mercies because I knew God's name. He saved me and gave me great promises in His word that built my faith in times of fear and challenges. Reflecting on all of that made me think of how well we celebrate God's salvation, hence, #joyofsalvation worship evening.
Psalms 20:5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.
The Spirit of God impressed this scripture in my heart while praying for the program and I'm so trusting God that it'll be a moment of spiritual refreshment where the saved would be consumed in the depths of God's goodness and then flow out in Thanksgiving while the unsaved would be challenged to also join in this experience.
We have just two weeks to the main event while the auditioning would be happening tomorrow, I'll be using this medium to call on Christians here in the Heart church community to pray for this event while trusting God for a manifold manifestation of His love and mercies on all attendees.
Looking at the 6th and 7th line of that David's psalm, we see that the man that puts his trust in God would never be put to shame.
Psalms 20:6 Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
Psalms 20:7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
The alm of flesh would fail but as remember God and His unfailing love and mercies which come new every morning, we will never be lost in the storm.
As you rise today, stay conscious of God's love and enduring mercies that faileth not. Rejoice in God's salvation and beam a smile.
