DELIVERED FROM THE SNARE
Text: “Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence.” Ps 91:3
Good News! I say Good News! You need to put on a shout of victory today. You are delivered already. God is not about to do it. He has done it. He did it on the cross through the sacrifice of Christ. Today as believers we look at our lives purely from the perspective of what Christ did on our behalf. We are delivered already from whatever the devil can ever put together against us. Colossians 1:13 Says “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness...” This is not something God is planning to do but what he has done already. All it requires is for us to begin to walk in the reality of it.
A snare is a deliberate device that is put in place to capture an animal. The purpose of a snare is usually not to preserve the life of the prey but to destroy it. A snare is synonymous with destruction. Destruction is one of the three missions of the devil. “The thief cometh not but to steal, and to kill, and to DESTROY...” John 10:10. Jesus came to deliver us from all that. Now we can walk as free men and women to accomplish the purpose and plans of God for our lives.
Each one of us must take a stand of faith in the liberty wherein Christ has made us free. We must refuse to be held down. It’s a stand of faith.
Not only are we delivered from the snare; the snare is also broken. It does not have the capacity to hold you back again. It has lost its ability over your life. Whatever the snare may represent around your life has no more power over you. David prophetically declared “...The snare is broken, and we are escaped.” (Ps 124:7). I speak over your life today that whatever has held you down losses its power over you today in the name of Jesus. No weapon formed against you will prosper. Walk in victory and dominion.
CONFESSION:
I am delivered from every snare. Nothing is holding me down. I’m free to fulfil purpose.
