Show Kindness To People

How often do you show kindness to people?
Can someone really run to you in times of trouble or need and you can render them the help they require from you?
How intentional are you about making a difference in someone's life or creating an impact?

Most times we know people are in need, we see their struggles yet we close our eyes to it even when we know we can render help in one way or the other to the person.
Some people tend to only help people when they have something they want from the person in return while others only show kindness to those they like or their friends, close relatives, or loved ones.

Being kind or showing kindness goes as far as a stranger, someone you have no connection with either by blood or relation.
When you only show kindness to the people you know or your loved ones, it only means one thing.
Either you are a hypocrite or perhaps you are doing it for a purpose.
I know people have their various reason for helping a person.
Some of which is because they like that person, others do it because they know the person.
I have seen people that say, no I can't help this person cause I don't like him or her.

Some have even gone to the extent of showing kindness or helping someone simply because they wanna be in their good book.
No! Helping and showing kindness to someone should come from the heart.
You should be moved by compassion just like Jesus Christ to help and to be kind to another.

Why do you help people? Why are you kind to them?
I hope you aren't doing this with an ulterior motive.
I hope it's not because of the favor you will ask for in return even if it's not now but in the nearest future.
Let your purpose and reason for helping a person be genuine
And I pray that the Lord gives us a compassionate heart to be ready to help people who are in need and show them kindness, in Jesus' name, Amen.
