I have no problem and never have criticized anyone for doing it. But I remember that until recently a lot of people were accused for the same thing, ridiculed in public and even downvoted.
I was downvoted my self once because I posted the first paragraph of a news article and forgot to add quotes.
And yet ending plagiarism now says:
"there were too many "vigilante" users posting notifications that were simply wrong or overkill - e.g. smashing a new user down for not referencing an image is totally unnecessary. "

Although that day rewarded the comment spammer who reported me and had a hard time accepting the possibility that it was the wrong decision and I wasn't trying to fool anyone.

Me on the other hand never got any upvote for my reports so in the end stopped reporting. Because maybe I'm wrong but identifying plagiarism is hard work that can't be solved with temporary volunteers as @endingplagiarism04 proposal says.
I would invite @steemcurator01 in the discussion to tell us his opinion and possible solutions but he is busy leaving comments that not long ago would have been considered spam. But he never replies anyway, at least to small accounts, and I'm speaking from experience.

What I said in my previous comment was not a personal attack towards you, just expressing my frustration about the situation. The indifference, the unclear rules, the different implementation of penalties depending on the user and the lack of communication.
By the way, thanks for the upvotes on my recent reports. Been a while since I got one...
