An affectionate greeting to the members of the Venezuelan Steem community and grateful for such motivating contests to the organizers and the great support of @marcybetancourt and @solperez.

La naturaleza es mi gran maestra, a través de ella y a lo largo de mi vida adulta, no por intuición, sino por preparación, lecturas y vídeos de gente muy reconocida como Deepak Chopra, he aprendido a observarla y valorarla. Gente por decirlo de alguna manera “iluminada” nos invitan a observarla e imitar su “comportamiento” (el de la naturaleza). Ella ha sobrevivido a los tiempos más hostiles, siempre presente, ha sido sujeta a abusos por parte del hombre y aún así se levanta y sigue su curso, sin apresuramiento ni lentitud, todo a su tiempo.

Nature is my great teacher, through her and throughout my adult life, not by intuition, but by preparation, readings and videos of well known people like Deepak Chopra, I have learned to observe and value it. People, so to speak, "enlightened" invite us to observe her and imitate her "behavior" (that of nature). She has survived the most hostile times, always present, she has been subjected to abuse by man and yet she rises and follows her course, without haste or slowness, all in her own time.

Las rocas y piedras son un ejemplo palpable de lo que menciono, ellas se mantienen presentes y son testigo silente de muchos acontecimientos a lo largo de años. Siempre me han llamado la atención por su belleza y su variedad, casualmente me casé con Ingeniero de Minas, cosa que no estaba en el plan, así como es la naturaleza, ella se da simplemente, y sobrevive y se manifiesta.

The rocks and stones are a palpable example of what I mention, they remain present and are silent witnesses of many events over the years. They have always caught my attention because of their beauty and variety, I happened to marry a mining engineer, something that was not in the plan, as nature is, she simply gives herself, and survives and manifests herself.

Algunos centros de estética y relajación/rehabilitación utilizan las piedras para esos fines. También vemos como embellecen de manera natural o a través de modificaciones hechas por el hombre, cualquier ambiente. Si se quiere dar calidez a un área, ésta se decora con piedras y da una sensación de confort única.

Some aesthetic and relaxation/rehabilitation centers use the stones for these purposes. We also see how they beautify naturally or through man-made modifications, any environment. If you want to give warmth to an area, it is decorated with stones and gives a unique feeling of comfort.

Han sido utilizadas metafóricamente como ejemplo para personas fuertes, que no se rinden ante la adversidad. Por ejemplo: “tú eres como una roca”.

They have been used metaphorically as an example for strong people, who do not give up in the face of adversity. For example: "you are like a rock".

Yo me he ocupado de tocarlas, verlas, sentirlas, me parecen hermosas. Las de valor monetario, asignado por el hombre, lo que ha generado cualquier clase de conflictos por la ambición desmedida, por ejemplo: diamantes, rubíes, no las he tocado, pero mis respetos a todas las piedras, para mí son absolutamente preciosas.

I have been busy touching them, seeing them, feeling them, I find them beautiful. Those of monetary value, assigned by man, which has generated all kinds of conflicts due to excessive ambition, for example: diamonds, rubies, I have not touched them, but my respects to all stones, for me they are absolutely precious.
