Alright. This will be a long answer:
I have obviously made a mistake in the ways by which I formulated the contest, published it, and even, overestimaded the reach it would get. I don't do the same mistake twice, and I'll know better next time.
This is not my first rodeo, as they say... As you can see by the photo above, I did publish books before, of which, that is only a sample. I also have ample access to the newspaper, publishing, editing, design and advertising industries, including Amazon, which is the place where 80% of books are sold these days. Also, I have 30 years of experience in business management, at all levels, including multinational, and this means I will commit the best of me to make this work.
I also have absolutely no qualms about digitizing a logo myself. My intention was to make this a community effort, in order to involve more steemians. I had absolutely no need for anyone to do something that I could easily do myself. Now... If there is an existing logo, (and I do believe I've seen it before, the one with the hat, I will gladly use it together with the Publishing house own logo in all Steemian books, the only condition being I have access to the original author's signature in a copyright form I will be mailing him). So, don't be shy and mail me what you have to the email address advertised on the Hefestus Editions page.
Lots of people mentioned not having access to Amazon, including you, (I did ask you where you are located, and tottaly understand if you don't want to let everybody in on it). I will just imagine you are somewhere around the Dutch Antilles, Venezuela, Cuba, China or any of the other countries that don't get Amazon service for banking or political reasons. It really doesn't matter to me. It will matter, if I do get to have any of your materials published, in which case, I will need the appropriate copyright contract signed, but that won't happen in a public setting and we can work through a number of codified apps, and I will promise to keep the trade secret if you want to publish under a pseudonim. Believe me when I say I can keep a secret. I have been in the Special Forces while in the military, have worked under the laws of patient's health secrecy all my life, and, I'm a Freemason, ence... A man of secrets untold. I manage to live very well with all kinds of secrets.
I will take your advice on creating a calling card.
Regarding your own writings and translation, I can help you with any part of the job except writing them. I can even find translators, if the work is deemed too much for you. Maybe your time is better used in writing. My time in this entreprise will mostly be phocused in editing, and, for that, I can assure you, you will find multiple suggestions before your manuscripts ever turn into a published work. Obviously, we won't be working through comments on steemit because it's neither practical nor good for business discretion, so, once again, I refer you to that email address.
Regarding NaNoWriMo. It's a shitty date for the submission of works. Most Literary contests accept entries between January and March. I intend to submit the books that I find suitable or the author asks me to into said contests. December is not enough for editing and publishing. Especially if we are talking about multiple books. It takes an average 6 months to get a perfect publishing package, so, I would suggest NaNoWriMo to be advanced into, at the latest, the month of June.
I'm already working with @almaguer in something. He really deserves to be published out of Cuba. I can discuss this with you further out of this setting. I would really appreciate if you can adopt him, because I don't have enough steem for that yet.
Art & Artists was one of the first communities I have joined. I follow it, but I still haven't found the time to take a role there. Time, unfortunately, is finite, and I must make the most of what I have. I am currently preparing two books in Portuguese language for publishing, and that, to me, takes preference.
I also have knowledge of joslud's project. I haven't had the time to look into it yet. I will in due course.
At this point, all ideas are good, as long as they are workable. We do need to find a number of good writers because selling on Amazon is dependant upon the frequency of publishing, so, you have to publish frequently. This turns out to be a matter of problem for a writer who does quality instead of quantity, so, a group effort is necessary. I believe we can work our way into that.
Now... Sorry about the dry, business like answer, but, I get that way when I'm planning and conveying my opinions, no matter how brutal they are, I just drop the shell and let it land wherever. :)
Also, I thank you very much for taking your time to answer me and for taking interest on my project. All help will be greatly appreciated, and, good books, even more so. :)
Let's keep in touch.
Cheers,
Pedro
All these talks will serve to let people know, in the future, all the new projects that we can create. I only advise to remain constant. That is the word of order. That is the order in the chaos. I think those involved (all of us) agree that we should always strive for quality.
As for whether I get adopted or not jjj. Well, it is always better to have godparents. For any kind of baptism.
PD: Me gustaría tener un ejemplar de ese libro para leerlo y disfrutar del olor de la tinta sobre el papel, recien impreso.

And you have a sense of humour, too. :) Things are advancing steadily. There's no need to hurry. What's important is to strive for quality.
Un abrazo,
Pedro

I've been staring at the black cat behind the little mouse. What meaning can it have? It is the machinery that envelops us. It is the hidden mechanisms or it is the inner shadow that limits us. It could also be a fucking cat, about to ingest a mouse. But nothing is what it seems.

What do you believe it means.. I am the black cat... Actually, I am very fond of that MOuSE so I will skip a meal, we both will.
Now back to you staring at me... I believe you commented enough. Are you trying to type 35 within one night?

The only "mistake" is that you have overvalued the average Steemian plus you deal with different cultures and theres a huge difference if it comes to understanding what is meant (reading is difficult), IQ, and taking Action (investigating what is asked, who this God is), taking the time to try out several things. One week is too short for an artist.
If it come to national writing month it depends on where you live. No one likes to be inside during Summer to write. We go out when Spring starts after months of cold. October is autumn holiday with children, November is doable and at the start of December (holidays again) there's a draft the author should reread and edit himself first (around February- March sounds perfectly in time) since freewriters write quickly without storyline. I liked it. The story builds while writing and it always surprised me how it unfolded.
I guess that's why I like reading me. There is no storyline worked out. If I read it back after some time I read it with different eyes.
Thanks for all the info.

I made many mistakes. :) Not fatal ones. All will work out ok.

For sure not fatal it's more proof of what is thought and Steemit lacks: people who dare to think out of the box. It's a lot of tiptoeing in the hope to be noticed (rewarded) which is the result of how most Steemians were recruited.
Look at we-write. The smallest task arises millions of questions. Why not simple show what you like? If I have to spell it out where is the creativity, the personal touch?

Obviously, you should not. You have to let the naturals show up.
