The whole world is silent and dark . The only thing I can see is the sky. Thousands of stars trying to light the sky. But it's useless. It's like my life, away from you on the battlefield.
I received your letter months later. The poems you wrote for me are so beautiful. Just like a rain in the desert. I know you're not well. You must be scared about me. You may be worried about the delay in getting a letter from me. War means something like that. Honey, I know it's hard. But We have to adapt. We have to bear until the war end. I promise you to come back soon. I have a kiss of peace for you. So stay strong for that kiss.
I wonder what you are doing right now . maybe thinking about me. Or maybe reading a book. Maybe sew. I know about my pretty strong girl. She has the most beautiful heart in the world. You can still hide all your sorrows behind your beautiful smile.
When I come I will come with you to go to the Kovil. We can go to the temple on Poya days under the moon light. One day we will be the parents of the most beautiful children in the world. Our nest will be full of joy. Let's teach our children that we are all human. Let us explain why we had to suffer like this. Let's teach them that the race and the religion is not a barrier to love.
