Life is a lesson

Truly life is a lesson. On this faithful day, I want to discuss a story of myself and the experience I had that I believe everyone needs to learn from. While growing up, I thought only those who met my needs were those who cared about me and wanted the best for me.

As a student, I had a poor friend but he had dreams for the future since he couldn't meet my immediate needs it became so difficult for us to flow together. Another guy came around and then showed me love and care providing all I needed. So I followed him and that was how my education crumbled because this person had what I needed materially but didn't guide me toward educational success.

So that was how we managed and graduated from school I didn't come out with a good grade because of that. So when I finally finished I was searching for a mini job to gather money and further my education and when I went for the interview the person I saw as the last person to interview me for the work was the person I left to follow another way back in school.

The shock couldn't be allowed because I knew that it may be my last stage and I may not get the work considering how I treated him far back in school. He was amazed when he saw me and he told me not to worry and that this was an interview and it had nothing to do with our past.

So we did the interview and he asked questions based on the job description I was applying for and after everything, he told me I could go and that they would get back to me. I knew that I wouldn't get the job because my behavior from the very beginning didn't speak well of me.

I decided to move on and search for another and that was when it came to my consciousness that indeed life is a lesson. I have learned to treat everyone with love and care. If they don't have today they may have tomorrow.
