Greetings to you all and welcome to my Engagement Challenge entry for the theme of week 5 challenge from this amiable community. This engagement topic gives us the opportunity to share with everyone some of the natural spaces in our various nations.

I'm so excited to share with you all some of the best if not the very best three natural spaces in Nigeria. These places are known to be the nation's hidden gems, waiting to be explored and appreciated.

Therefore, I tell you, you won't believe the excitement bubbling inside of me as I think about my visiting these places myself as I've never been to any of them but just keeping up with rumours on television and other people's adventures. I just can't wait to experience the heart of nature and its wonders that await me. So without further I do, I present to you the 3 best national spaces in Nigeria according to my excitement.

GASHAKA-GUMTI NATIONAL PARK

First on my list is the Gashaka-Gumti National Park. It is to me like a hidden treasure tucked away in the eastern part of Nigeria. This is said to be the biggest national park in our country Nigeria, covering a massive area with diverse landscapes, ranging from thick rainforests to wide-open savannahs giving me the trills to explore the trails and spot some unique animals like the endangered Nigerian Cameroon chimpanzees as this park is known to be the home of these creatures.

YANKARI NATIONAL PARK

Also called Yankari Games Reserve is located in the Northeastern part of Nigeria, which is a far distance from my residence as I reside in the southern end of Nigeria. However, Yankari National Park is praised for its amazing wildlife and natural springs. I can only imagine how refreshing it would be for me to take a swim in the warm waters of the Wikki Spring.

CROSS RIVER NATIONAL PARK

Cross River National Park is located in the southeastern part of Nigeria and the closest to my residence amongst all mentioned, but still it is approximately about x hours' drive from my residence.

This park is a true gem with its lush rainforests and jaw-dropping waterfalls and I already see myself in this park feeling the tranquillity of the forest around me, listening to the soothing sounds of nature, and witnessing the inspiring beauty of the Agbokim Waterfalls. Having the chance to visit this place would mean a lot to me and give me a chance to reconnect with Nature as a nature lover.

Each of these natural spaces comes with its unique charm and offers a different experience. Whether be it the diverse landscapes of Gashaka-Gumti, the relaxation and wildlife encounters at Yankari, or the enchanting beauty of Cross River, I tell anyone visiting, you are in for an incredible adventure.

My hope and goal is that I get to create unforgettable memories in at least one even if not each of these national parks as I want to immerse myself in the wonders of nature, appreciate its breathtaking sights, and maybe even learn a thing or two about conservation along the way. I excitedly look forward to an adventure filled with awe, peace, and a whole lot of fun, and I can't wait to embark on this journey and share all the incredible moments with you through my lens and publications.
