Photo Contest week - 29 - "Birds"

Hello friends. Greetings to all from Sri Lanka. Today I am going to participate the contest which known as "Photo Contest week - 29 - Birds" organized by @evagavilan. This is the my first post in Venezolanos Steem community. Today I hope to talk about a few birds which I have captured by my mobile camera. Let's go to the article.

An Owl

You've all heard of nocturnal birds. Owl and bat are two of the most famous names among them. Today I am going to tell about an owl caught on my camera. An owl is a bird that hides during the day and becomes active at night. They roam here and there hunting insects at night. We hear a lot of their sound at night. As many people say, their sound is very mysterious. I had the opportunity to photograph such an owl, which is difficult to see during the afternoon. It was around ten at night. I saw this owl searching for prey on the branch of a decaying tree. So I am happy about getting this opportunity. This is the photo. It's not a clear photo because it's from my phone and it's night time. But I think it is not difficult for you to identify this bird.

A flock of pigeons

In this picture there is a flock of pigeons that come to my yard as a habit every day. A pigeon is a bird that lives by eating grains. It is my practice to give them lentils and rice. I took this photo when such food was served. It is a great relief to hear their incessant sound and observe their behavior. The way they shake their colorful necks, look around and walk to the beat is so beautiful. They make a beautiful nest by collecting small pieces of sticks. Their home is near my windowsill. So they are my best neighbors.

A Greater coucal

Greater coucal is a another predatory bird. Their body is black and their wings are reddish brown. Having two red eyes is another special feature of them. Mostly eating snails and insects, they also like to eat the eggs of other birds. I took this photo with great difficulty. Because they fly away when they see people. This bird can be called another wonderful creation of nature.

An Eagle

An eagle is a bird of prey that hovers high in the sky and looks for prey like a surveillance plane. Sharp beaks, sharp claws and highly sensitive eyes make this task even easier for them. It is easy to photograph them clearly with a high quality camera. But doing it with a mobile phone camera is very difficult. Because they fly fast in front of our movements. I took this photo with great difficulty. Look at another wonderful creation of nature.

All these birds can be introduced as wonderful discoveries of nature. They play a major role in maintaining the balance of the ecosystem. And because of them, the environment becomes more beautiful. That's why they have the right to live in this environment just like us humans. Protecting that right is our responsibility. Because of the distance, enjoying their beauty, photographing it is not a problem. But it should not bother them or bother them. See you again one day with such a beautiful article.
