Hello friends. How are you. I hope you are all well. Today I am going to participate the contest which known as "Photo contest week #30 - "Flowers" organized by @evagavilan. This is a one of beautiful contest of Venezolanos Steem community. This are the flowers which I have captured. Let's go to the post.

Rose Flower

Rose is a flower that is known all over the world as a symbol of love. That's why roses have a great fame and great commercial value. Botanically known as "rosa" there are many varieties of roses. You can see roses in different colors like red white yellow rose. Speaking of this photo, I took it last December. It was a time of dry weather during the day and very cold weather at night. At that time, the rose bush in my yard was full of flowers. I think that weather is perfect for roses. So friends, that's how I got this photo.

Hibiscus Flower

This picture shows a hibiscus flower caught by my camera. I took this photo to submit to this contest. These are botanically known as "hibiscus." There are many varieties of this five-petalled flower. Shown here is its red variant. These are also known as shoe flowers in Sri Lanka. These flowers make a delicious drink and are also used for religious purposes.

Temple Flower

Here is a bunch of pink temple flowers. I took this photo from a temple tree on the side of the road near the houses. Temple flowers are available in several colors like white, yellow and pink. This type of flower with five petals is used for religious purposes and decoration in Sri Lanka.

Bougainvillea

Here is a bunch of pink bougainvillea flowers. You can see different types of bougainvillea in colors like yellow, red and white. These flowers are often grown for home decoration. In Sri Lanka these are also known as paper flowers.

Busy Bees Flower

This is a Busy bees flower bush that I grew myself. I bought these flowers in the market for 150 rupees. These flowers bloom beautifully between September and December. In Sri Lanka these are known as "Kapuru".

Mexican Sunflower

Here are some Mexican Sunflowers. In Sri Lanka, they are often seen in bushy areas. The environment is beautified by these flowers that bloom one by one because they are similar to sunflowers. Farmers are also used to growing these because their leaves are used as fertilizer in agriculture. Here is a photo I took from such a thicket.

Here are some Tabebuia rosea flowers caught on my camera. It is a very beautiful sight during this flowering season. Because the whole tree is covered with flowers. And like a blanket under the tree. These trees are full of flowers from December to April.
