Greetings to all the Steemites of the world. Here I bring you a new edition of the Art and Writing Contest, the guest is Quentin Massys:

This distinguished artist was born in Louvain (Belgium) in 1466. Little is known about his life, except that he married and had several children.

From 1941 he lived in Antwerp (Belgium) until his death. There he founded the Antwerp School, which is a fusion of Flemish art and the Italian Renaissance.

In his works he touched on various religious, everyday, moral, sarcastic and ironic themes.

He died in 1530, in Antwerp.

Here are three of his works so you can choose the one you like best to write about. The first is titled The Ugly Duchess (1513), the second, The Moneychanger and His Wife (1514) and the third The Mismatched Lovers (1525).

1.- Write a narrative text, a poem, an essay or a reflection, based on this work. The minimum length is 200 words. Try to be creative.
