On the last day of the year 2024, I set out on a trip to Kazakhstan from India with a friend and reached Almaty, Kazakhstan with my friend at exactly 1 am on 1 January 2025.
There is a lot of difference between the temperature of India and Kazakhstan, the temperature here at that time was minus 6 degrees, the air was extremely cold and it was drizzling.
The strong cold winds made the weather even colder, the friend who was to receive us there at 1 am in the midnight was probably busy celebrating the arrival of the New Year, that is why he reached to pick us up at around 2 am.
But since there was a system to control the temperature inside the airport, we were saved from the weather.
And then we reached our destination by taxi at around 3.30 am. At night we did not get much chance to see the outside view. But as soon as I woke up in the morning, I looked at the road outside my place of stay and saw that there was a thick layer of snow on the roads, and it was probably removed by a machine 1-2 days ago, and was put aside.
But this view was very surprising for me, because in our country snow falls only in some hilly areas. And I mostly live in the plains.
That is why after seeing this view, I could not resist the temptation of touching the snow and my friend captured this priceless scene with my camera Realme 8 Pro 5G , because if I had captured this picture in the camera, then such a good view would not have come.
Through this picture, I am trying to tell you that this first day of the new year has brought a lot of excitement and happiness for me.

I can relate to this line of yours. Indeed, we, the ones who live in the plains, are desperate for snowfalls. If I made a list of favorite things in winter, the scenes of snowfall are at the top most.
The fluffy snow, when slowly showering under a dark sky, and the light of street pols just illuminates the white buds into golden yellow. ufffffffffffff.... I can't get over such a view. What a marvelous ambiance to start a new year.

This is indeed a matter of joy. I have also seen beautiful scenes of snow fall here on foreign land. I am enjoying the temperature of minus 7 to 15 degrees here for the last 5 days.
