"Stabeu"

On 20th December 2013, the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 2015 as the International Year of Light and Light-based Technologies (IYL 2015). The U. N. also created an International Day of Light (May 16th).
As LPWA was a partner of UNESCO at that time, the alliance negociated to create the International Day of Lightpainting at the same date. From 2015 to 2019, members of the alliance took part into events, meet-ups, speeches, workshops...

May 2018 was a busy period in my lightpainting journey : I visited my friend Dee Light in New York City and we took part together to a meet-up in Virginia, organized by Jason Rineart under the banner of LPWA. Right after that, I took a plane back to Paris and took part to the event the french team organized in several locations. They made a really good job.

On saturday May 19th, we all join together in a big park in Paris and made a massive collective lightpainting :

After that, most of the lightpainters decided to go back to their hotel to rest before leaving Paris. But a few was motivated to spend the night outside and have fun together.

Here are two shots I made of @stabeu using my Camera Rotation Tool and the ambient lighting.
