Hello Steemworld and I hope life is treating you well.
Here's a couple of shots from my current photo-a-day project for 2020 using something I can't believe I haven't used earlier. Tinfoil.
Inspired by a photo comment from @martbarras I was hunting around my house for high shine metal objects to light using my mini rgb led strip, pictured below.
I made this using an off the shelf ws2812 rgb led, an ir controller, receiver and a small battery pack.
I first scrunch up the tinfoil then flatten it back out then mold the desired shape, hand above and face below, and lay it on my table. I fill the frame with the foil, fire the shutter (in the dark) and sweep the led stick around the periphery on rainbow mode. Really simple but quite effective :)
Here's another one created using my ugly mug :)
I hope you enjoyed these shots and there will be more of these to come throughout the coming year.

Happy days.

Wow! I really like these colors on the tinfoil. It almost looks computer generated. Maybe you can do some more generic or abstract shots, not just a hand or a face.
Would be awesome :)
