Space, the new frontier.

The Artemis program is the international program that is made up of many countries to take humans to the moon and Mars, but it has a fundamental problem, the Artemis program and NASA's missions to Mars were financing, the budgets had skyrocketed, so for now they should try to see what happens with the accounts.

Once you stabilize the accounts then you can stabilize the mission times, but that is very bad if the budgets skyrocket irrationally, if they skyrocket, because difficulties have arisen or you are developing a new technology and suddenly you find yourself in the way of that development of technology problems that are completely new, as it is justifiable and can increase the final budget.

Things are not so easy to develop, there can be many complications that increase the budget, but if this increase in the budget is due to other circumstances, perhaps due to making projects that are too complex or due to other circumstances, you have to get involved, because, if you have a limited research budget and those circumstances take away that research budget, you are developing less science and that is a problem in the end.

The first mission to Mars could go in 2028, a test mission must be done to see if the ship lands well and if there is any problem that was not taken into account before, that would be Elon Musk's project, but according to the proposal from NASA experts, the trip would currently last approximately one year and 6 months. The first trip to Mars with humans inside a ship would not land, it would not be to land, it would be to fly over the red planet and then pass by Venus and return to earth or They would take advantage of gravitational assistance.

That is the duration of the project until recently, but with these new fuels and these new engines and if the StarShip is developed because the fundamental advantage of the StarShip is that it is enormous, so you have a habitat for humans to be during many months within it, because not only will it be the trip to Mars and the return but it will also be the stay on a Tuesday, that is, even if you manage to reduce the trips to about four or five months there and as many back there later You also have to stay a few months to do the research corresponding and to adjust the return to the launch window, which is approximately every 22 months.

That is why NASA is looking for nuclear fuel, a year and a half is a long time, that is why they are developing this type of nuclear fuel and systems to be able to go faster and thus save time, this is also to save the health of the astronauts who are going to be exposed to weightless conditions, radiation, etc.

They try to solve the issue of weightlessness by making the ship rotate, they could not stand up in that ship that rotates, the artificial gravity product of a rotating ship because centrifugal force is achieved that imitates or simulates gravity has some limitations, You need a fairly wide turning radius, I think it was about 40 m radius, that's quite a bit.

The StarShip is 8 meters in diameter, you could make it rotate but if you try to stand up you will get dizzy, because the centrifugal force, the simulated gravity that your feet feel, would be very different from the centrifugal force, the gravity that your head feels and you would have many problems to simply stand, now if you are lying down which is basically what astronauts would have to do on a trip to Mars, most of the time they could surely be lying down and in addition this way they would save oxygen and food because it would require fewer resources.
