A new alternative to send loads into space

It is a new system developed by the company spinlaunch space system, this strange device 50 meters high is called its orbital accelerator, the images are from a test that took place in New Mexico USA, on October 22.
The launch system consists of a vertical rotating disk that accelerates the spacecraft to hypersonic speeds using electric motors before launching it at about 8,000 kilometers per hour, in the test the 3-meter-long spacecraft reached 10,000 meters in height.

When the system is fully developed, it will not avoid having to use rocket motors to end up carrying the load to Earth orbit, but the advantage is that it would save the first stage of a traditional rocket and with it a huge amount of fuel, although it does have One limitation is that this system can only be used with charges, it is not suitable for humans since the accelerator forces would turn any living being inside into mush, unless it was a tardigrade of course.

This suborbital accelerator that we see in the images is only a prototype, the final accelerator would be three times greater and could help put ships with two hundred kilos of payload into orbit, the equivalent of several small satellites like those used today to create constellations of satellites.
