The Japanese space tourists aboard the descent vehicle of the Soyuz MS-20 spacecraft landed in Kazakhstan.

Cosmonaut Alexander Misurkin, billionaire Yusaku Maezawa and video director Yozo Hirano are doing well, said Roscosmos.

Yusaku Maezawa and Yozo Hirano spent 11 days aboard the International Space Station (ISS).

They were the first tourists in the station in 12 years, aside from a film crew filming a feature film there in October.

The Soyuz MS-20 was launched to the ISS on December 8. Then the ship docked to the small research module "Search", making four orbits around the earth.

At the station, Yusaku Maezawa and Yozo Hirano filmed videos for the YouTube channel.

On Monday, Soyuz MS-20 separated from the Russian segment of the ISS.

A few hours later, its propulsion system turned on for deceleration, after which the ship began to de-orbit and was soon divided into three compartments.

The crew experienced standard overloads of about 4g.

The descent vehicle of the ship landed about 150 kilometers from the city of Zhezkazgan in Kazakhstan.

Due to bad weather, the crew was evacuated not by helicopters, but by ground transport.

Alexander Misurkin, Yusaku Maezawa and Yozo Hirano are doing well. Their rehabilitation will take from 14 to 21 days.
