Once upon a time there lived a snowman in a distant country where winter reigned all year round. He was tall and round, with two coals for eyes and a carrot for a nose. Very kind and smiling, he delighted everyone with his presence and gave people joy.
That year the Christmas holidays came, and the snowman decided to please the children with a special gift. He went into the forest to find the best and most beautiful Christmas tree decorations. And so, while walking among the pines and firs, the snowman noticed a group of sleighs loaded with gifts, which were briskly rushing through a snow-covered clearing.
The gifts on the sleigh attracted the snowman's attention. He jumped up to the sleigh, stopped it with a strong wind and decided to check its contents. To his surprise, the snowman discovered that the group of sleighs belonged to Santa Claus, the magical gift-giver who travels around the world at Christmas.
The snowman decided to help Santa Claus and offered his help in delivering gifts. Santa Claus gladly agreed, and the snowman took his place on the sleigh next to St. Bernard, Santa Claus's faithful assistant.
