Jatropha Tanjorensis or Chaya leaf is a plant. it is a vegetable. It can be prepared as a meal or used as medicine. In Nigeria it is fondly called "hospital too far" . which implies that you dont have too go to the hospital before you can get drugs to treat youself. I have it planted in my compound. They are so delicious when prepared as sauce to eat yam. They are very rich in vitamins, calcium, protein, irons and also in fibre. It helps to grow healthy skins and it boost blood, immunity and fights infection.
